SAN ANGELO, TX— A major crash on US 87 North by March Road slowed traffic to a stop this morning.
At 6:39 a.m. on October 31, 2024, a NIXLE Alert was issued that said to avoid the northbound lanes of US 87 North near March Road due to a major crash.

San Angelo LIVE! also received several messages concerning the crash that was between at least three vehicles. Two of the vehicles involved were two pickup trucks that had windows blown out and a third vehicle, a silver passenger car, had severe damage.
One of the trucks involved in the crash was in the middle median and the other was on the side of the highway.
Debris was seen scattered across the highway from the wreck.

The Department of Public Safety and the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department were both seen on scene in the aftermath. It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash but if a fatality occurred, the Department of Public Safety will issue a report.
