Driver Crashes into San Angelo Home, Witnesses Say He Fled the Scene

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A driver reportedly crashed a vehicle into a home at 201 Oakwood St. in San Angelo late Monday evening and fled on foot, according to witnesses.

Residents in the area alerted San Angelo LIVE! about the incident, with one noting, “some kid smashed into a house and took off running.”

The first message to San Angelo LIVE! came in around 8:40 p.m.

Following the crash, witnesses reported a police response, with officers blocking off a three-block radius near the scene. Video footage shared with San Angelo LIVE! shows a man being taken into custody, though it remains unclear if he was the driver.
