Motorcycle crash shuts down Beauregard

SAN ANGELO, TX — A pickup truck collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of Beauregard Avenue and Milton Street at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

The accident left the driver of the motorcycle lying motionless in the street, while he was attended to by witnesses before paramedics arrived at the scene.

There was no update on the condition of the driver of the motorcycle, who was transported to Shannon Medical Center, said San Angelo police officer Lee Kvittem.

The driver of the Ford F-150 was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was uninjured, Kvittem said.

A witness stated that the driver of the motorcycle seemed to be struggling to control his engine as he drove southbound on Milton. As he approached the intersection, the motorcycle jutted out into traffic on Beauregard.

The witness said she knew CPR and rushed over to help the man. She said he had a faint pulse and was in and out of consciousness.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing, Kvittem said.
