75-Year-Old Driver Crashes into UPS Store Pillar After Pedal Mix-Up

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A driver slammed into a building pillar after mixing up the gas and brake pedal. 

It happened around 10 a.m. at The UPS Store located at 3524 Knickerbocker Rd in the Southwest Plaza Shopping Center. 

The driver was said to be a 75-year-old woman who received minor injuries to her arms and leg. 

She declined to be taken to the hospital. The airbags in the vehicle were deployed and the car needed to be towed away.

...She's lucky she didn't kill someone.  Should be mandatory to immediately revoke the license of someone over age 70 involved in an accident like this......pending an appeal.
