Another 7th Street Crash Sends Driver to the Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO – Another crash at the intersection of 7th and N. Bryant slowed traffic Monday afternoon.  

DPS Troopers, Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies and San Angelo Police investigated the crash between a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup and a black Chevrolet Colorado that sent one driver to the hospital. 

According to San Angelo Police Dept. Traffic Division investigating officer Sgt. Solsbery, the white Chevy was southbound on Bryant and the black Colorado was northbound in the left turn lane attempting to turn onto 7th Street.

Sgt. Solsbery says the Silverado had a green light and the right-of-way and the Colorado turned in front of the white pickup causing the crash.  

The driver of the white pickup was transported to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.  The driver of the black pickup was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
