San Angelo Police Release More Info on Sunday Rollover Crash

 

SAN ANGELO— The San Angelo Police Department released additional information about the rollover crash on S. Bryant Sunday that sent two people to the hospital.

San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Kelsey Hernandez said in an email that the driver of the 2021 silver Nissan Altima was traveling northbound on South Bryant.

The drivers of the Kia Telluride, Ford F-150, and Ranger Rover were also traveling northbound on South Bryant and were stopped at the red light at South Jackson Street and South Bryant Boulevard intersection.

The driver of the Nissan Altima struck all three of the vehicles that were stopped at the red light as he attempted to drive between them. In doing so, he rolled his vehicle over on its driver side. He was taken to Shannon Medical Center and charged with DWI.

A young woman was also transported to the hospital.
