Collision on East Sixth Street Results in Hospitalization and Citation

A recent traffic incident on the 400 block of East Sixth Street has left one person hospitalized and another cited, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

The incident occurred when a gray Dodge Dart came to a stop at a yield sign on East Sixth Street.

Simultaneously, a white Ford F250 was traveling eastbound on the same street.

Unfortunately, the pickup failed to control its speed, resulting in a collision with the stationary Dodge Dart.

Officers at the scene reported that three individuals were inside the Dodge Dart at the time of the collision, while the Ford F250 had a lone occupant.

Emergency medical services were promptly dispatched to the scene, and one occupant of the Dodge Dart was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The current condition of the hospitalized individual remains undisclosed.

In the aftermath of the collision, law enforcement officials issued a citation to the driver of the Ford F250.

The F250 was gone by the time reporters arrived on scene.
