Dramatic Video Footage Sheds Light on Saturday’s FM 2105 Crash: You Be the Judge

SAN ANGELO, TX — A collision involving two vehicles occurred just before noon on November 25, 2023, at the intersection of FM 2105 and Grape Creek Road.

As the Department of Public Safety (DPS) continues its investigation, local resident Wayne Williams has come forward with video footage from two security cameras he operates overlooking the intersection. One camera offers a broad, bird's-eye view, while the other provides a more detailed close-up perspective. We have obtained both videos and are presenting them here. The footage is shown at normal speed initially, followed by still images of the aftermath and a slowed-down replay at 50 percent speed.

Our initial report, based on the visible damage to the vehicles, suggested that the white Ford SUV collided with the rear driver’s side quarter panel of the Jeep Cherokee. However, this new video evidence offers a firsthand look, allowing viewers to form their own conclusions about how the crash unfolded.

Jose Rivera from the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department noted that this is the second recent crash at this intersection, with the previous incident tragically resulting in one fatality. Rivera has observed a significant increase in traffic in the area. The Grape Creek VFD regularly attends to both crashes and fires across the vast northern outskirts of San Angelo. In this instance, the San Angelo Fire Department's EMS unit also responded to the scene with an ambulance.
