Driver Arrested After Rolling His Itty-Bitty Red Car

SAN ANGELO, TX — Police are wondering if the driver of the itty-bitty red car was high on narcotics following a rollover crash. According to the police, the driver was seen driving at an excessive rate of speed up Knickerbocker Road by a Lake Division patrol officer who gave pursuit.

The Lake Patrol officer arrived at the scene within seconds, police said.

The driver of the red car disregarded the red light at the intersection of Knickerbocker and Twin Mountain, slamming into a white pickup whose driver was turning onto Knickerbocker from Twin Mountain. The force of the collision caused the red car driver to lose control and flip.

Luckily the neither driver was injured although police said the itty-bitty red car driver was checked by EMS before he was cuffed.

As he was being arrested for reckless driving, police also charged the red car driver with running a red light and failing to control speed. He will be booked into the Tom Green County Jail and police will ask for toxicology tests. Police said he was uncooperative and acting as if he was high.

Police said the itty-bitty red car looked like a Toyota.
