WATCH: New Lincoln Destroyed in MLK Blvd. Crash

SAN ANGELO— A midday crash at a dangerous Northside intersection damaged a new Lincoln passenger car when a Nissan driver disregarded a stop sign.

At around 1:30 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred at the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Drive and 14th Street. A white Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Martin Luther King Drive and a black Lincoln was traveling westbound on 14th Street. The white Nissan failed to yield the right of way to the black Lincoln, and both collided in the intersection.

No one was injured in the crash and the driver of the white Nissan was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way. The road conditions were dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.

During the crash investigation, officers did have 14th Street closed while the San Angelo Fire Department was cleaning up debris from the crash.

Lady ran that same stop sign in front of me a few weeks ago. Missed her by only a foot or two. Shit intersection with even shittier drivers in this town.
