WATCH: Biker Goes Down in Bizarre Series of Crashes

SAN ANGELO – A motorcycle was destroyed in a series of crashes on S. Bryant Blvd. stretching from at least Ave. N by the new McDonald's restaurant to Ave. L by Santa Fe Furniture Tuesday night.

San Angelo Police issued a Nixle alert at 7:18 p.m. advising drivers to avoid the intersection of South Bryant and West Ave. L due to a motor vehicle crash.  That's where reporters photographed a motorcycle heavily damaged in the roadway.  There was also a white van at that crash scene.

Then Police issued another Nixle alert at a short time later warning motorists to avoid South Bryant between Old Knickerbocker Rd. and Ave. K due to a motor vehicle crash.

There's a lot more detail in the video from the scenes below:

There is a damaged light pole leaning near the new McDonald's restaurant.

Police are investigating the crashes and should release more information soon.  Multiple traffic lanes were shut down during the investigation.

There is currently no information on the cause of the crashes or injuries.  Investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division are on the scene.

This is a developing story.
