Wagon Pulling Pedestrian Killed on U.S. 67

BIG LAKE — A pedestrian was killed on Thursday night after he was struck and killed by a car on US 67 outside of Big Lake.

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched ten miles east of Big Lake on US 67 on Jul. 14 at around 5 p.m. for the report of a major crash involving a pedestrian.

When the troopers arrived, they discovered a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle while pulling a wagon down the highway.

A witness of the crash told investigators that the man was in the outside lane at the time he was hit.

At the time of the crash a rain storm hit the area. It is not believed that weather caused the crash.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. His identity has not been released at this time.

This item is as clear as mud. Was the pedestrian pulling the wagon? Was the vehicle pulling the wagon? Why the heck would you not clarify this a little?
