WATCH: Big Rig Crash Shuts Down US 67 Near Miles

 

MILES, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation is reporting US Hwy 67 at Miles, TX is shut down for a traffic crash investigation. 

The crash appears to have involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger car.  

"A truck crash early this morning on US 67 N of San Angelo at Rainey Rd is still being cleared. TxDOT is rerouting traffic. Please follow their direction. #txdot#crash#EndTheStreakTX https://t.co/ExapwHjDMj"

US 67 was shut down completely at Rainey Rd. for several hours.  Reporters on the scene say one lane opened around 9 a.m.

Social media reports indicate a tractor trailer was involved and there was at least one fatality but that information has not been confirmed.  

This is a developing story.
