WATCH: Lunchtime Crash Sends One to the Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Sunday lunchtime crash caused traffic delays in the heart of San Angelo.

According to reporters on scene, on Feb. 27, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of A&M and W. Avenue N for the report of a major crash. 

When they arrived, the officers discovered a white car and a blue SUV that crashed in the middle of the intersection. 

The driver of the white car was taken out of the vehicle and was taken to Shannon Medical Center with for minor injuries. No injuries were reported out of the blue SUV.

Officers were able to determine that the white car was heading west on Ave. N attempting to make a left hand turn. The white car disregarded the right of way to the SUV which was heading east of Ave. N. 

It is unknown if any citations were issued on scene of the crash.
