Two Tom Green County Women Killed in Fiery Head-on Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two Tom Green County women were killed over the weekend in a fiery head-on crash. 

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on June 21, troopers with Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the intersection of US 277 and FM 2335 for the report of a major crash were the vehicles may have been in flames. 

Members of the Christoval Volunteer Fire Department were also dispatched to the scene. 

As crews arrived they found 2014 Fiat 500 and a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder had crash head-on. 

Preliminary investigation indicates the Fiat was traveling north on US 277. The Pathfinder was traveling south on US 277. The Fiat crossed the center stripe divider and struck the Pathfinder front left to front left. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Susan Werner.

The driver of the Fiat has been identified as Araceli Fe Marin Female, 19, of San Angelo, TX. 

The driver of the Pathfinder has been identified as Alyssa Ashley Glasgow, 27, of Christoval, TX.

Weather conditions were reported as clear and the road condition was reported as dry. 

Both of the drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
