WATCH: Biker Suffers Head Injuries In Houston Harte Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Just after noon on Wednesday, San Angelo Police Officers responded to a major motor vehicle accident on the 2400 block of Houston Harte. A Jeep Cherokee and a Honda motorcycle had been involved in an accident.

Officer Welch told reporters at the scene that both vehicles were traveling westbound when the driver in the Jeep slowed down as they approached a construction site near Glenna. The driver of the motorcycle failed to control its speed and ran into the back of the vehicle.

The driver was ejected from the motorcycle, and it appears he may have sustained head injuries. The injuries were described as non-life threatening by the officer, but the driver was transported to the hospital to be evaluated. The female driver was also taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

As of this moment, the driver of the motorcycle will be issued a citation for failure to control speed.
