Driver Killed in Horrific High Speed Crash

ODESSA, TX -- An early morning crash involving three vehicles left one woman dead and one man hospitalized.

According to CBS 7, on November 11, at around 4:45 a.m. the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the intersection of State Highway 302 and FM 1936 for the report of a major motor vehicle accident.

When the troopers arrived they found a Nissan Rouge, a Ford F-250 and a Ford-350 that had collided in the middle of the road.

After further investigation the troopers determined that the driver of the Rouge, 48-year-old Mryna Renteria-Morales, was heading South on Fm 1936 and disregarded the stop sign causing the car to collided with the two trucks that were headed West on SH 302.

Morales was pronounced dead on the scene and the driver of the F-250 was taken to the hospital.

Neither of them were wearing seatbelts.

Words mean things. Of course, I meant TOE the line. See what I did there?

I believe the correct phrasing should be "causing the car to collide", rather than "causing the car to collided".

Also, the headline "Women Charged With Homicide After Mother Drowns in Vehicle" should read "WOMAN Charged With Homicide After Mother Drowns in Vehicle", as there was but one woman charged in this incident.

..within the last year or so. We all misspell from time to time, it'd just be nice to have some efficacious spell-checking which reflects the journalist's accolades in the "about the author" section.
