WATCH: Multiple Children Escape Injury During Lunch Time Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX --Multiple children escaped injury during a crash in today's lunch rush. 

According to Officer Loudermilk with the San Angelo Police Department, at around 12:00 p.m. the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of 7th and Bryant for the report of a major motor vehicle accident. 

When he arrived, Loudermilk found a Chevy Avalanche and a Dodge Durango that had crashed in the middle of the intersection. The Chevy contained the driver and a child. The Dodge contained the driver, an adult passenger, and two children.

An Ambulance was called in but everyone was treated on scene. 

After further investigation, Loudermilk discovered another patrol unit that was at the intersection when the crash happened. The video revealed that the Dodge was heading South on Bryant during a green light and the Chevy attempted to make a left turn. This made the vehicles collide. 

The driver of the Chevy was cited for failure to yield that right-of-way.
