UPDATE: Tahoe Driver Causes Multiple Vehicle Crash on N. Bryant & 6th St.

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Several vehicles crashed at the intersection of N. Bryant Blvd. and 6th St. in San Angelo Thursday evening.

See the pictures above.

Reporters on the scene say traffic is delayed in all directions.

There are ambulances, fire trucks, and law enforcement officials on the scene.

This is a developing story.

UPDATE: 6:50 p.m.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Long at the scene, a black Chevy Tahoe was eastbound on 6th St. near McDonalds.

Witnesses say the Tahoe disregarded the red light at N. Bryant Blvd. and crashed into a Dodge Durango which then struck a Ford F-250.

The Tahoe then crashed into a blue Chevy Silverado which was northbound on Bryant Blvd.

The crash caused traffic delays at the busy intersection for over an hour.

None of the people involved were injured enough to go to the hospital.

The driver of the black Tahoe was issued several citations including disregarding a red light, driving with an invalid driver's license, and no proof of insurance.

Traffic was restored to normal following the investigation.

I was just going to say, and then I read it..... The idiot that would have caused this will have no drivers license and no insurance...... and then there it is, in print..... this should be an automatic 30 days in jail and a $1000 dollar fine for the first offense and every offense charged after that, the jail time and fine doubles...........

I don't think he did anything wrong, after all the red lights in San Angelo are optional. Sherwood Way and the Loop and at 2288, oil trucks and others routinely go through the red lights. I have sat there and the light turns green and here they come. But our jail is already full and this idiot would just get free room and board.
