Game Wardens, Cadaver Dogs Find Severed Leg

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Game Wardens with the Texas Parks and Wildlife have found the leg which was severed in a gruesome boating accident on the Fourth of July.

Game Warden Ricky May said the leg of Jeremy Armenta was discovered around 9:45 a.m. in the same area of Lake Nasworthy where it was severed.

Game Warden Cynde Aguilar and cadaver dogs from Austin made the discovery.

Texas Parks and Wildlife say that Armenta and a friend of his were riding in the back of a boat with their legs hanging outside of the vessel when the boat went in reverse, pulling the men under the boat where a propellor struck and severed Armenta's leg.

Armenta underwent surgery after the grisly accident and his condition is unknown at this time.
