Pedestrian Struck by Tahoe on Knickerbocker and West Loop 306

 

SAN ANGELO, TX —On Wednesday evening, San Angelo Police responded to Knickerbocker and West Loop 306 Frontage Rd. for a major vehicle accident involving a white Chevy Tahoe and a pedestrian. 

The Chevy Tahoe was northbound on Knickerbocker and continued through the intersection with a green light, according to San Angelo Police Department officer Welch.

"The [Chevy] went through the intersection at Knickerbocker and the Loop Frontage Rd and struck the pedestrian who was in the middle of the roadway,"  officer Welch stated.

The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. The extent of the pedestrian's injuries is unknown at this time. 

No citations are being issued until further investigation takes place, officer Welch said.
