Single-Vehicle Accident Damages Electricity Pole on N. Bryant

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Around 5 p.m. this afternoon a single-motor vehicle accident caused local police to shut down three lanes of N. Bryant Blvd. 

Police officer Sgt. Griffith stated that a white passenger vehicle was traveling northbound in the 2400 block on N. Bryant when it lost control for an unknown reason. The vehicle then rolled onto its side. The accident caused damage to an electricity pole nearby. It is unknown at this time if the impact caused any major power outages. 

Two occupants were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. One occupant was sent to a local area hospital for non-incapacitating injuries. 

At this time, three northbound lanes of N. Bryant are closed as first responders and police officers work to clean the scene. 

Citations, Griffith said, are pending further investigation.
