Hummer Driver Pinned Inside Vehicle After Crashing into Truck Tractor

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Shortly after the call for the flipped truck on the Houston Harte (see here), just before 2:30 p.m., first responders dispatched to the 7600 block of RM 853, near Pot Creek, for the report of a major crash with entrapment.

DPS Trooper Young said the driver of a white Hummer was traveling southbound on RM 853, failed to control his speed, and rear ended a truck tractor.

The driver of the Hummer was pinned in the car, but the trooper said the timeframe is unknown at this point. 

He added that the driver of the Hummer did get a citation for failure to control speed.

While clearing the crash, officials closed the roadway until 3:15 p.m.
