At around 10 a.m., Officer Hunger, traffic investigator for the San Angelo Police Department, said the driver of a gray Chevrolet pickup was stopped at a red light and waiting for it to change, while the driver of a white Dodge, who was heading westbound on Concho St., ran a red light.

At the same time, the driver of a red car was heading southbound on Oakes. Hunger said the driver of the red car hit the Dodge after the driver ran the red light, and that knocked the Dodge over to the left. The Dodge then hit the Chevrolet.

As a result, the driver of the red car and the Chevrolet were transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries. The driver of the Dodge and a male child passenger in the vehicle were not injured. However, the driver of the Dodge did receive a citation for running the red light.

Well, well, well...here we have another ancident involving someone "RUNNING THRU A RED LIGHT" and causing injury to others. Hummm...seems to be a "NEW FAD" around this city? However, when one makes mention of this as a "POSSIBLE FACTOR" causing these accidents, some "DUFUS" will come forth and go on the defense! They will make stupid, and I mean really stupid excuses that they readily run through red lights themselves. Shame on you "FOOLS!" This is nothing more than an excuse on your part to to deny that you, more than likely run through red lights while texting and just don't want anyone to know so! Keep it up you idiots...your time is coming! "TEXTING WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRIVING"
