Collision at Major Intersection Sends Three to Hospital

 

At 4:45 p.m. today, San Angelo Police responded to a major vehicle accident at the intersection of N. Chadbourne and E. 14th Streets. According to an officer at the scene, the collision involved a Ford Expedition and Oldsmobile Alero.

The officer stated, "Apparently, one vehicle was traveling eastbound on E. 14th St.and the other vehicle was traveling southbound on N. Chadbourne St. At some point, someone disregarded the red [light] and created the collision."

The officer added that the Alero held five passengers at the time of the collision, and three were taken to Shannon Medical Center. The Ford Expedition had only one occupant who did not sustain any injuries.

At this time, SAPD officials are still investigating the vehicle responsible for the collision, and they did not give any citations at the scene.
