An honest driver helped San Angelo police sort out the cause of a crash Sunday morning on the Loop 306 frontage road.
A driver of a green Chevy Silverado pickup was southbound on Southwest Blvd. and ran into a silver Honda Accord sedan that was westbound on the Loop 306 frontage road.

According to San Angelo police, the driver of the green pickup told them that she saw one green light, but another light that controlled her lane of traffic was actually red. Police cited her for failure to yield right-of-way at a red light.
Police said that there were no injuries, other than some shaken-up drivers. Everyone refused to go to the hospital.
The crash happened at 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Correction: We originally misidentified the silver sedan as a Toyota Camry. It was a Honda Accord. The story was corrected.
