DPS Sgt. Killed in Car Crash

A Patrol Sergeant with the Texas Department of Public Safety was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday night.

William "Karl Keesee," 49, died while on duty in Mills County near Goldthwaite. The sergeant was based out of Brownwood. 

The crash report has not yet been released by the DPS, nor has any information regarding the circumstances of the crash. That information will be disseminated by the media offices out of Austin, the local DPS Public Information Officer related.
