An Abilene man died in a single-vehicle crash on I-20 in Colorado City.
According to the Texas DPS, Troy Gene McMillian, 30, of Abilene, was driving a 2000 Ford F-350 westbound on I-20 in Colorado City. Just prior to the interstate bridge over SH 208, McMillian veered left into the median between the westbound and eastbound lanes, striking a cable barrier. The F-350 then went airborne between the I-20 overpasses over SH 208 crossing below.

The truck struck a concrete culvert and guardrail and burst into flames.
McMillian was pronounced dead by Judge Rick Grissam at the scene.
DPS said that the crash is still under investigation.
The roadway was dry and the skies partly cloudy. The crash happened Sept. 7 at 1:25 a.m.
