A child was injured in a crash in south San Angelo just after 12:30 p.m. today.
According to San Angelo police, a child passenger in a Ford F-150 was complaining of side and neck pain after a Toyota Tacoma crashed into the Ford where the child was a passenger.

Police said that the driver of the Ford did not properly yield the right-of-way to the Toyota headed northbound on US 277 and was issued a citation. The Ford was turning onto US 277 from Grand Canal Rd.
The child with the uninjured mother accompanying him was sent to San Angelo Community Hospital to get checked out.

This intersection was the scene of a similar crash that led to a fatality on May 20, 2015.
