The High School Football Season Kicks Off Thursday Night with the Central High Bobcats Scrimmage at Home

 

SAN ANGELO – The High School football season kicks off Thursday evening as the San Angelo Central Bobcats are set to compete in a scrimmage against Lubbock Coronado at San Angelo Stadium.

The varsity Bobcats will take the field at 7:00 p.m. while the JV and Freshman squads will play at 5:00 p.m. Quarterback Tyler Hill returns to the field as does Jacob English and Keevon Rice at wide receiver.   Next week is the Central Bobcats first game against Killeen Shoemaker at Leo Buckley Stadium on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

San Angelo Centrals complete schedule is as follows:

  • August 26, 2022- Central vs. Shoemaker at Leo Buckley Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • September 2, 2022- El Paso Montwood vs. Central at San Angelo Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • September 9, 2022- Central vs. Abilene Cooper at Shotwell Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • September 16, 2022- Belton vs. Central at San Angelo Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • September 23, 2022- Abilene Wylie vs. Central at San Angelo Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • October 7, 2022- Central vs. Midland High at Grande Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • October 14, 2022- Odessa High vs. Central at San Angelo Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • October 21, 2022- Central vs. Midland Legacy at Grande Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • October 28, 2022- Odessa Permian vs. Central at San Angelo Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
  • November 4, 2022- Central vs. Frenship at Tiger Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
