History Hangs in the Balance for Grape Creek when Ingram Moore Comes to Town

GRAPE CREEK – The Grape Creek Eagles have a chance to make history by winning the district championship when they take on Ingram Moore on Friday at 7:00p.m.

Grape Creek is currently in a three-way tie with Sonora and Brady all with 3-1 district records. This would be Grape Creek’s first district championship win ever.

Last Friday, the Creek took on Sonora and won 7-6 when quarterback Landon Crow threw a 4th quarter, 7-yard touchdown pass to Kolten Allen in the back of the endzone.

The Sonora Broncos play the Ballinger Bearcats and the Brady Bulldogs take on the Bangs Dragons this Friday. Should both Sonora and Brady lose and Grape Creek win, they would be the outright district champions.

The Grape Creek Eagles square off against the Ingram Moore Warriors in Grape Creek at Eagle Stadium on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and COVER1 on SanAngeloLIVE.com will be there to possibly witness history happen along with coverage, highlights, and analysis of the battle between the Eagles and Warriors.
