Central's Black Friday Showdown vs Midland Lee Given New Time

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Black Friday has been known for the traditional turkey bowl pick up football game in the park and the shop till you drop extravaganza.

This year San Angelo Central Bobcat fans can add an Angry Orange vs Midland Lee matinee showdown to the list of Black Friday list of things to do when the Bobcats square off against the Rebels on Friday, November 27th at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland.

The game between the Bobcats and Rebels was originally slated for a 7 pm kickoff but according to a tweet from sportswriter Christopher Hadron of the Midland Reporter-Telegram this evening, the game between the Little Southwest Conference rivals has been moved up to a 2 pm kickoff in Midland.

The District 2-6A season finale between Central and Lee marks the first meeting between the programs since 2017 when the Bobcats beat the Rebels 52-28. Central has won the last six consecutive meetings dating back to 2012.
