Tom Green County Polls Open for Primary Runoff Election

SAN ANGELO, TX— Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday for the Tom Green County Republican primary runoff election.

Voters will decide nominees for U.S. senator, attorney general, railroad commissioner, and a seat on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. The contests appear on a single ballot for all precincts.

The races are:

• U.S. Senator: Ken Paxton and John Cornyn
• Attorney General: Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy
• Railroad Commissioner: Jim Wright and Bo French
• Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3: Alison Fox and Thomas Smith

Election Day polling places are:

• Christoval Community Center, 20022 Main, Christoval, Multi-purpose room
• Concho Valley Transit District (Bus Depot), 506 N. Chadbourne St., Annex Building

• Grape Creek Community Center, 8207 US Hwy 87N, Gene Marsh Board Room
• Paulann Baptist Church, 2531 Smith Blvd., The Chapel
• Oak Grove Senior Apartments, 4375 Oak Grove Blvd., Multi-purpose Room
• Southgate Church of Christ, 528 Country Club Rd., Fellowship Hall

Early voting ended May 22. Voters should bring acceptable photo identification and use a black or blue ink pen to mark ballots completely filling the box next to their choice.
