Event Provided First Look at County Primary Election Opponents

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Association of Realtors played host to a monthly luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 18, turning the spotlight on Tom Green County Primary Candidates. The Primary Election for both Republicans and Democrats is March 5.

The candidates engaged in a meet-and -greet event at the Angelo State University LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center.

In adherence to an open invitation, candidates for all county positions, regardless of opposition or incumbency, took the opportunity to introduce themselves and showcase aspects of their platforms.

Among the noteworthy races, the seat for Precinct 1 County Commissioner witnessed incumbent Ralph Hoelscher in attendance, while his contenders Michele DeRusso and Daniel Cardenas unfortunately, could not make it to the event.

Meanwhile, in the battle for County Commissioner Precinct 3 Rick Bacon faces Mercedes Delacruz, who were both present. 

Also in attendance for the county Constable Precinct Four where Thomas Bingham competed against Gary Cole for the seat.
