Coronavirus: Tom Green Co. Sheriff's Office Suspends Certain Vehicle Inspections

 

SAN ANGELO, TX –  The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is suspending certain vehicle inspections effective immediately. 

According to information from the TGCSO, VTR_68-A VIN number inspections will be suspended immediately because of the Coronavirus threat.

Here's the release:

"In an effort to reduce the risk of unnecessary exposure of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our deputies and citizens, effective immediately, Tom Green County Sheriff's Office will be canceling VTR 68-A Inspections until further notice. We will continue monitoring the situation and will share information as appropriate.  In the meantime please follow guidelines being shared by authorities on ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19."
