Paint Rock Water Supply Cut by Fiber Optics Cable Installers

PAINT ROCK, TX — A crew installing fiber optics inside the City of Paint Rock hit and ruptured a main water line this morning, according to Paint Rock ISD Superintendent Ron Kline. This morning the City attempted to maintain water pressure while locating exactly where the leak was. This was going on since early this morning and so far, the issue hasn’t been resolved.

“We cannot operate school without water and plumbing,” Kline said.

Kline said the schools there made the decision to end class early today. But before releasing the pupils, the school cafeteria served lunch on an accelerated schedule. Then classes were dismissed at noon.

Kline said he instructed bus drivers to remain with all students until each and every one of them are picked up by their parents.
