Tom Green County Commissioners Enact Burn Ban

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Tom Green County Commissioners Tuesday morning enacted a burn ban during their regular meeting. 

According to information from Precinct 3 County Commissioner Rick Bacon, the burn ban went into effect immediately.

The burn ban means all outdoor burning is banned except for gas grills and enclosed containers. 

Hot and dry conditions have led to numerous grass fires and the potential for more prompted the ban on outdoor burning.
