Controlled Burn Fills County's Eastern Sky

SAN ANGELO, TX — An authorized control burn was seen for miles late Wednesday afternoon to the east of San Angelo. The exact location of the plume of black smoke was between U.S. 67 north and Veribest.

Tom Green County has no burn ban in effect and the burn was registered with San Angelo dispatch for emergency services.
