State Office's Closed Wednesday in Honor of President George H.W. Bush

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- All state offices will be closed Wednesday in honor of the funeral services for former President George H.W. Bush.

This includes the Department of Public Safety and the Angelo State University Campus.

On Wednesday, a memorial service will be held at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Then the former president's casket will be taken to St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston for a second service.

His body will be buried at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station, TX. He will be laid next to his wife Barbara and their daughter Robin who died of leukemia as a child.   

The State offices will reopen on Dec. 6 at regular times.
