Lonestar Coffee was one of three vendors who submitted a proposal to lease the cafe space in the library downtown. The previous tenant’s lease was terminated because he failed to pay rent. Commissioners could award the lease as early as next week.
The court also awarded a bid for six new Ford Explorers for the Sheriff’s Office. The purchase was awarded to Caldwell County Ford in the amount of $221,005.60.
Commissioners also approved a purchase order for $376 to replace the windshield on a privately owned vehicle. A county road and bridge crew was hauling road materials near Miles, TX recently and a rock fell from a county vehicle and broke the windshield of the privately owned vehicle.
