The election office will be closed December 21 through January 8 for the holidays and to allow staff time Dec. 21 to the Jan. 1, 2016. Messages will be checked during this time. The week of Jan. 4 – 8 the staff will be attending training classes and will be unable to check messages. The office will resume normal business hours on Monday, Jan. 11. All county offices are closed Dec. 24 and 24 for Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s.
Voters, who wish to vote via ballot by mail, will need to submit a new application for the ballot by mail. The application cannot be accepted until January 1. Blank forms are available on the webpage: www.votetomgreencounty.org under the “Ballot by Mail Request Form.” The contact information for the election office is on the homepage including the mailing address and fax number. To request a blank application be mailed to a voter, they are encouraged to wait until January 11th due to the office closure. Requests may also be sent to the election email at [email protected].
