Jail Bookings Slow on Thursday

Traffic was low going into the county jail on Thursday, when only 14 were booked on a variety of charges, probation violations and warrants. 

Theft was the top charge at four counts total, followed by assault, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and DWI, which each had two. There was one person apiece jailed for marijuana possession, speeding and nonpayment of child support. 

Thirty-six inmates were released from the county jail on Thursday.
