Four men and three women were booked into the county jail by the San Angelo Police Department on Tuesday for charges of theft, accounting for one-third of the total jail bookings. The inmates were booked at different times throughout the day and ranged in age from 18-39 years old. Four of the seven were booked on warrants and charged with theft >/=$20k<$100k, a third-degree felony.
The four, Edgar Maricio Arias, Janet Briones, Benjamin Delarosa and Raquel Delarosa Zapata, appear to have been in cahoots with one another, as all of their charges stem from a theft ocurring on July 14 of this year.
The remaining three all have prior theft, burglary, robbery and/or aggravated robbery charges.
In addition, there were two individuals booked on motions to revoke probation for DWI, as well as another booked for DWI second or more. There were two counts of marijuana possession, one count of possession of a controlled substamce, one resisting arrest and one evading arrest charge. To view the full booking report, click here.
