Assault Leads Wednesday Jail Bookings

Crime doesn't take a holiday, and while inmate bookings were low on Wednesday, 15 inmates were put behind bars for various charges and a handful of warrants.

Assault/family violence ranked the highest among the charges at three, while one person apiece was booked for fleeing a police officer, issuing a bad check, marijuana possession, and DWI. 

Twenty-four inmates were released on Wednesday.
