To help avert an anticipated blood shortage during the long, four-day Thanksgiving holiday, when the need for blood goes up dramatically, United Blood Services have partnered with HEB. The grocery store will provide a free turkey to blood donors over the Thanksgiving Holidays. Donors will get a voucher and have until 6 p.m. on November 26th to redeem the voucher for a frozen turkey at the HEB meat market.
The offer is open to anyone who donates blood at United Blood Services donation center, 2020 W. Beauregard in San Angelo between Friday, November 21st and Wednesday, November 26th
