Alcohol-Related Charges Lead Sunday Bookings

Twenty-four individuals were booked into the county jail on Sunday, among them four jailed for public intoxication and three jailed for DWI. One of those booked for DWI was also charged with driving while license invalid and exhibition of acceleration, speeding. 

Marijuana possession and assault accounted for second largest number of charges Sunday at two apiece, while one person each was charged with theft, possession and evading arrest.

Seventeen inmates were released from jail on Sunday.
