36 Booked Into County Jail Wednesday

 

Inmate bookings increased on Wednesday over the beginning of the week, when 36 men and women were put behind bars on various charges. A few of them had warrants and committments, however comparatively more were jailed on fresh charges than on Monday and Tuesday.

The bookings report shows five counts of public intoxication, four of theft and of possession, and three DWIs, the majority of the latter pertaining to warrants for past events. There were an additional two assault charges, one forgery, one aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one injury to a child/elderly/disabled person and one evading arrest. 

A final man was picked up on a motion to revoke probation charge, which relates to two counts of indecency with a child sexual contact. 

Twenty-five inmates were released from jail on Wednesday.
