Five Drunk Drivers Jailed Thursday

 

The San Angelo Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety and Tom Green County Sheriff's Office put a collective five drivers behind bars on Thursday for driving while intoxicated, all of which were men.

Six charges of theft and four charges of assault were also among the offenses the 35 total new inmates were booked for, as well as three possession, two manufacture/delivery charges and two marijuana charges. 

Many of those jailed had multiple offenses, warrants and committments. No one was jailed for walking with the flow of traffic. 

Thirty-eight inmates were released on Thursday.

The latest report on Thursday's officer-involved shooting is that the suspect has been identified and was in critical condition Thursday evening.
