Five assault and five theft charges were reported among the 33 inmates booked into the county jail Thursday, followed by four marijuana, three possession and three DWI charges. Two minors were booked for driving under the influence, while reckless driving, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, harassment, injury to a child/disabled/elderly person and resisting arrest each accounted for one charge on the report.
One man was jailed for littering, as well as a warrant for failure to appear (FTA) to court. The FTA relates back to an assault causes bodily injury charge, for which a motion has been filed to revoke the defendant's probation due to violations.
Thirty-five inmates were released on Tuesday.
