The overwhelming majority of the 21 inmates booked into the county jail on Wednesday were jailed on either warrants or committments relating to past crimes.
Theft accounted for the highest number of bookings at six, followed by for for possession and three for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Two more were picked up on warrants for aggravted assault with a deadly weapon, and another two were jailed for DWI.
One charge apiece was reported for injury to a child/elderly/disabled person, marijuana and assault.
Twenty-eight inmates were released on Wednesday.
